H.E. Julie Chung, the us ambassador to Sri Lanka paid and a courtesy visit to Hon Ananda Wijepala, the Minister of Public Security and parliamentary Affairs and Hon Sunil Watagala , the Deputy Minister on 20th at the Ministry Suhurupaya , Battaramulla.

This meeting focused on strengthening the bilateral partnership between Sri Lanka and America. Ambassador Julie Chung expressed America’s cooperation for future development activities of the government and their commitment towards it.

She further appreciated the efforts taken by the new government for establishing law and order without political influences while ensuring their maximum support to mitigate drugs and underworld activities. The Ambassador reaffirmed their commitment to protect cyber security with technical knowledge and cooperation needed.
